Tip # 1 Tune Up: Properly tuning your engine can improve your fuel economy by as much as 4%. Fixing a serious issue such as a faulty Oxygen Sensor can boost mileage up to 40%.
Tip # 2 Air in your tires: Properly inflated tires improves gas mileage by up to 3.3%.
Tip # 3 Unpack: An extra 100 pounds of cargo in your trunk reduces fuel economy by up to 2%. A loaded roof rack cuts fuel economy by up to 5%.
Tip # 4 Slow Down: Gas mileage usually decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph. Every 5 mph over 60 mph is like adding an additional 29 cents per gallon for gas.
Tip # 5 Avoid Idling: A car gets 0 mpg when the engine is idling.

The Trunk or Treat event of the year! Andrews Automotive invites young ghosts and goblins to Trunk or Treat through a maze of vehicles on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 5pm to 7pm. Enjoy FREE hot dogs and refreshments while the youngsters enter to win a boys or a girls bicycle to be given away at the end of the night, winner will be notified.
